June 30, 2026. Coming Soon to UAT: Enhanced Search Cards in Map View & Profile Location Map
We've extended the enhanced search card experience to two additional surfaces: the search results map view and the provider profile page, moving toward a more consistent card experience across all surfaces.
What's New:
Enhanced Cards in Search Map View: When members switch to map view on the search results page, both the collapsed cards and the expanded selected card now use the enhanced search card design, consistent with the list view. The selected card has been consolidated to display a maximum of 2 attributes, matching the mobile card design for improved readability and scannability.
Enhanced Card for Selected Location on Profile: The selected or primary location on provider and searched location profile pages now displays using the enhanced card design, with phone number, office hours, and a directions link surfaced in the header.
Interactive Map Replaces "In-Person Locations" Section: The collapsible "In-Person Locations" card list on the provider profile page is replaced with an interactive map. All of a provider's locations appear as pins, with the current profile location labeled "Current Profile Location" on hover. Enhanced cards display alongside the map and can be expanded for more detail. The standalone map button previously in the upper right of the profile page has been removed.
"In-Person Locations" Rename: The "Other Locations" section on the provider profile page has been renamed to "In-Person Locations" to better distinguish it from Virtual Care.
Virtual Providers: As part of this update, provider profiles now have two distinct location sections, "In-Person Locations" (the new interactive map) and "Virtual Care" (a collapsible card section for virtual care options). Previously, all locations were grouped together under "Other Locations."
New Enhanced search cards in map view
Before: Selected/expanded card in map view with all attributes shown and scrollable
After: Selected/expanded card in map view with a max 2 attributes, consolidated layout
Before: In-Person Locations shown as collapsible dropdown cards, stacked vertically
After: In-Person Locations shown as an interactive map with enhanced cards alongside, with "Current Profile Location" hover label on the profile pin
Note: Maps will not render automatically in UAT. You will need to click the button to load the map. Maps will render automatically in Production.
Before this update, the map view in search results and the profile page location section displayed older card designs inconsistent with the enhanced search cards already live in the search results list. Members encountered a different visual experience depending on how they were browsing. The "Other Locations" section on a profile also required members to expand individual collapsible cards with no spatial context, and accessing the map required a separate button click. These changes bring a unified, streamlined experience across all surfaces.
These enhancements are auto-on. These enhancements apply to all profile page types, including provider profiles, hospital pages, urgent care, etc.
These enhancements will be in UAT on June 30, 2026 and in Production on July 21, 2026.

June 24, 2026. Update: Search by Plan Menu Enhancements: Revised Approach and Timeline We are taking additional time to refine the updated Search by Plan (SBP) Menu experience based on customer feedback, and have adjusted our rollout approach to ensure we move forward with confidence.
After weighing feedback from our customers and conducting a thorough review, we have made three key decisions:
Opt-In Availability: The updated SBP Menu experience will be made available as an opt-in rather than an automatic update. Your current Search by Plan experience remains in place in production and will not change at this time.
User Research Underway: We are investing further in user research and usability testing to validate that the new experience meets the needs of your members and represents a meaningful improvement before it reaches production.
Revised Timeline: We are targeting a UAT release in Q4, with a production release planned for Q1, after Open Enrollment concludes. At that point, the updated experience will become the standard for all customers.
The current Search by Plan experience your members rely on today is fully supported and stable. No action is required on your part. Your feedback has been instrumental in shaping this updated approach, and we are committed to delivering an experience that feels like a clear step forward for you and your members.
If you want to push your UAT experience to production please reach out to us and we will make the change. We will communicate further details, including opt-in instructions, ahead of the Q4 UAT release.
